A Man of Truth and a Prophet · also called Enoch · إدريس
ChristianityIslam

Idris, peace be upon him, is named twice in the Quran, which calls him a man of truth and a prophet and says Allah raised him to a high station. Many scholars identify him with Enoch, though the Quran does not say so. The Quran is the final word on his story, and the earlier books are read in its light.
